With the season finale of the European Le Mans Series a couple of weekends ago, Jamie Chadwick has completed her debut year in endurance racing. Going forward, she's aiming to build on her experience in 2026.
'I’ve really enjoyed [endurance racing], and one I’m excited to build on moving forward,' she told media, in collaboration with Rolex, who sponsors and supports Chadwick's career as a Rolex Testimonee.
'Endurance racing is incredibly competitive,' Chadwick continued.
'The intensity is high from start to finish, which makes it both physically and mentally demanding. Races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans are among the toughest I’ve ever experienced. You’re exhausted, but you still need to perform at your best.'

Switching to sportscars
Chadwick previously raced in single seater series, including the female-only W Series, of which she won every championship held by the series in 2019, 2021 and 2022. She later raced in FRECA and Indy NXT, but made the switch to endurance racing for 2025.
The British driver, from Bath, Somerset, joined Genesis Magma Racing and IDEC Sport for the 2025 ELMS campaign. She and her teammates, Mathys Jaubert and Daniel Juncadella, recorded three wins and finished third in the championship.

'The team element of endurance racing has shown me that, as a driver, you’re just one small part of a much bigger picture,' said Chadwick.
'When everything aligns – the strategy, the driving, the car – the sense of achievement is incredible. It also makes you hungrier for success in the future, especially after experiencing the inevitable challenges and adversity that come with long races.'

Le Mans and looking forwards
As well as a season-long campaign in ELMS, Chadwick also raced at Le Mans for the first time, alongside Jaubert and three-time winner Andre Lotterer. The German replaced Juncadella, who was racing for TF Sport and Corvette Racing, as part of his full-season WEC programme.
The team ran as high as second through the race, but had to retire in the 17th hour with Lotterer driving, as the car lost its rear-right wheel shortly after a pitstop.
Chadwick wasn't discouraged by the result, though.
'The team had a great deal of confidence heading into the 24 Hours of Le Mans, based on the strong start we had in the ELMS,' said the 27-year-old.
'We were under no illusions about how tough it was going to be but were genuinely excited and fully embraced the opportunity. Having the chance to race there was incredible. This years’ experience has strengthened my determination to go back.'
Looking to next year, her ELMS teammates Juncadella and Jaubert are moving up to WEC with Genesis, joining Lotterer, IMSA champion Pipo Derani, and two other drivers yet to be announced.
Chadwick, on what Genesis is calling its 'trajectory programme', will remain in the ELMS with Genesis and team operator IDEC Sport, with two new teammates who will be announced at a later date.
She will also be part of the Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar development programme, driving the car in the simulator and in test sessions.

Learning from Mr Le Mans
As part of the Rolex family, Chadwick has been able to learn from other members of the famed watchmaker's Testimonee programme, as she continues her development in endurance racing.
'It is incredibly special to be part of the Rolex family,' she said.
'Rolex’s partnership with endurance racing is incredible given its longevity. Being able to tap into the breadth of experience from the other Motor Sport Testimonees has been fantastic.
'To learn from their journeys is something I really treasure. I have been lucky, as Tom Kristensen, known as “Mr. Le Mans”, has given me a lot of great advice.'
